Environmental Policy

Midchrome Tubes Limited operate from their Perry Barr premises located in Aldridge Road. The Company processes and surface treats steel components with chromium or zinc plating for a wide range of industries.

As a responsible member of the community the Company recognises that Environmental Management must equal the highest of its Company priorities and will ensure environmental requirements form an integral part of its business strategy.

Midchrome Tubes Limited is committed to developing policies, programmes and practices for conducting its operations in an environmentally sound manner and are committed to conducting its business activities in line with sector best practice and recognised environmental management tools.

Midchrome Tubes Limited is committed to the protection of the environment and by a programme of continuous improvement, the company will prevent pollution by:

  • Implementing and developing its Environmental Management System to meet the requirements of ISO 14001.
  • Where practicable, rendering harmless any releases which may lead to Environmental Pollution.
  • Minimising the consumption of raw materials and ensuring that any waste generated is disposed of with minimum impact on the environment.
  • Maximising energy efficiency and promoting the wise use of energy.
  • Educating, training and motivating employees to conduct their activities in an environmentally responsive manner.

Midchrome Tubes Limited is committed to fulfilling our compliance obligations in accordance with all relevant National and European Environmental Legislation and Regulations. Where no legal requirement exists the company will operate in a manner which will ensure the minimum environmental impact from its processes.

Midchrome Tubes Limited is committed to continual improvement of the management system to enhance our environmental performance. We will set objectives and targets to drive improvements which will be contained within the company’s management system, communicated to all staff and will be reviewed by the senior management team on an annual basis.

This policy will be reviewed annually and any changes communicated to all staff within the company.
